Have you been wanting to make your own embroidered patches but not sure where to start or what supplies to use? Can’t find the products you need to make patches locally in NZ? Come join me in my studio and we’ll go through it all step by step!
In this workshop we’ll cover:
- Tools and supplies you need to make patches
- What designs to use and how to make them yourself
- Step by step process of making patches
- Ways you can use patches
- Problem solving common patch making issues
PLUS I’ll include a checklist of supplies needed to make patches AND a written step by step process you can follow at your machine. I’ll also include 3 FREE patch border designs you can use to make your own patches.
What to Bring?
All the supplies needed for the workshop are included in the ticket price along with tea, coffee and some snacks. If you have anything special you enjoy drinking or snacking on, feel free to bring it with you (I do have a fridge available for things that need to be kept cold).
I’m running a Getting Started with Machine Embroidery workshop on the same day before this one, if you want to come along to both workshops I’ll include lunch in the price of your ticket 🙂

Let’s get together this month and some create some fun embroidered creations together!
I did a poll in the group and got an even response between Free Standing Lace (FSL) jewellery/ornaments and In The Hoop (ITH) Coasters – so let’s do both!
This is a casual get together for all levels of experience whether you’re just starting out with machine embroidery or if you’re a seasoned pro – the idea is to get together, have some fun and share knowledge with each other AND you’ll come away with some great creations and inspiration you can take home with you!
PLUS you’ll get to play with all of the embroidery machines I have in my studio including the Echidna exclusive in NZ – Brother VE2300 and Brother Stellaire XJ1, Brother NV2600 and Brother PR1000e 10 needle.
Details About the Event:
Spaces are limited to 10 people max due to the size of my studio space so if you plan to come along, grab a ticket straight away!
The $10 fee covers the use of all of my embroidery machines, stabilizer, fabric, thread, batting, designs and other supplies along with tea, coffee and other drinks. Some snacks will be provided as well. You are welcome to bring some additional snacks or drinks with you if you would like something specific.
